A different way of viewing weight loss identifies the problem as not one of consuming too many calories, but rather the way the body accumulates fat after consuming carbohydrates—in particular the role of the hormone insulin. When you eat a meal, carbohydrates from the food enter your bloodstream as glucose. In order to keep your blood sugar levels in check, your body always burns off this glucose before it burns off fat from a meal. get more tips on echants.com

I totally agree with you. Being ripped doesn't always equals to being healthy.

Hi I'm a new member and I'm also concern about losing weight as well!
I think you just need to combine a good diet with working out daily.
- Consume more vegetables and fruits. One of my favorite fruits that great for losing weight is guava because it's rich of fiber and other nutritions Consume guava as your snack is really good for your health.
- Drink 1,5l water every day.
- Avoid sugar, sweets, alcohol.
- Watching horror movies (I heard that they help burn more calories faster)

Work out: jogging, doing house work, go to the gym...
