Yoga is proved to be an effective natural pain relieving activity. A study shows that seniors who undergo chronic pain associating arthritis, fibromyalgia or migraine have found decline in the intensity of pain. It is not a high impact workout that may be hard on the joints of seniors, it actually strengthens muscles to make movement of joints easier, thus alleviates pain.
